What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
This policy covers ainur-labs.co.za and the Ainur Labs dashboard (the apps you reach after logging in there, such as the point-of-sale, delivery, and marketing tools we build and operate). Ainur Labs is currently operated as an unincorporated small team, not yet a registered company — this policy will be updated with formal entity details once that changes.
Products we build for individual clients (for example a specific client's booking platform or online store) may run under their own domain with their own privacy policy, since the client — not Ainur Labs — controls how their customers' data is used. If you're looking for one of those, check the footer of that specific site.
Data lives on servers we manage directly (primarily in South Africa) or with reputable infrastructure providers. We don't hand data to data brokers or ad networks. Where a specific product (like a payments or calendar integration) involves a named third-party service, that's disclosed in that product's own privacy notice.
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it for a legal reason. Email privacy@ainur-labs.co.za and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
If you believe we've mishandled your information, you can lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
The marketing site (this site) doesn't set cookies beyond what's strictly needed to serve the page. The dashboard sets a single session cookie required to keep you logged in.
We'll update this page when what we do changes, and update the "last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be flagged to dashboard users directly where practical.
